Well hello there. This could be a step too far but I've been told to get on with it...
I'm a sculptor (who can't type) based in Somerset and I spend a lot of time welding mice! It's not what I intended to do, but they've kind of taken over my life.
I'm not sure how this blog thing will go either. You're all welcome to add whatever comments you like and we'll see what direction we head. I'm expecting to give you a few interesting tails in-between the daily runnings of Rex The Mouse. As usual, it's a bit late and I'm off on a sales trip tomorrow so I'll say very little more. Off to Devon and Cornwall to find some new gift shops and galleries to take my work.
You know it's not really a great idea to see a picture of me.......well, maybe later. An image of Rex would be much more appealing...
I'll try to add a photo...unknown territory! Well, what a surprise, it actually worked. This isn't a very recent sculpture, as I was looking for an image he just stood out and I couldn't resist. He's a typical Rex though, cute but a little disturbed. He sells for £15, which I think is a bargain. I've been told I can link my website to the blog but don't know how so I'll add an address : www.rexmouse.com
Guess that's enough for now, Chris Kampf

I've got back to you, patience is necessary with me.
Lily Kampf............noop. Very few Kampf's about. Not many in my family either.
Thanks for your comments about my sculptures. They're fun to make too. I supply about 30 galleries and shops, mainly in southern England and Yorkshire. The website ticks over a few sales: www.rexmouse.com
Cheers, must blog more often, Chris
